The problem is that the Razorbacks won a national title and made several trips deep into the tourney on that style of ball under Nolan. As such, if it truly doesn't work, it's going to take our fans a little longer to give up on it.
Some people see the Anderson love as a nostalgia trip for the bygone glory days of the Richardson era in a league that will no longer allow success at that style of play.
Others (I tend to be one of these) think that it's just about catching lightning in a bottle. As you all have pointed out, it doesn't always work. But.. guess what? No system ALWAYS works. Look at the completely screwy losses handed out to high ranked teams by low ranked opponents repeatedly this season. I think it's possible to make it work, as we've seen in the past, but I'm not sure that Anderson can do it. We'll see.
