Going to have to agree as strongly as I can here. In the modern world this is what I would call a recipe for disaster. As sweet as the fairytale of you two being together forever might be. The reality is she probably has dudes hitting her up left and right online and in person. Curiosity, due to the sheer number of options, almost always wins out. It's gotta be tough on you also.
I'd tell any dude to have fun and date different girls during his 20s and look to lock something down at 30-40 that is 5-10 years younger than you. There is an unbelievable power shift when you turn thirty that is worth waiting for and if you take care of yourself, build a career, and live in a larger city you will have all the power.
Take it from a late thirties dude who just got asked for my number by a 23 year old last week.
