She has proven herself a formidable liar and fraud when she wants to be. Even Walter says, "Lying comes much easier to you than me," or something alot like that. I just wish she was more of a force.

I just look at it that she's an annoyance and a pain in the ass and inconsistent because that's what she would be. She's a pain in Walt's ass because she would be a pain in Walt's ass in real life, and not only that, but in a marital relationship.
Walt thinks she gets in the way of what he wants to do, and that she doesn't get it or appreciate it. She's a nuisance that needs and demands explanations, but has moral hypocrisies and inconsistencies. That's what a real wife would do. I don't mean that in a sexist way, but in a relationship dynamic.
I mean, what it is, when you boil it down, is another avenue for conflict. She's not an enjoyable character, really. She's whiny and often dull, but people are that way.
