Bs&Gs got me through my partying youth.
The best ones I ever had were at two places that don't exist any more.
There was an old truck stop, all night cafe at US Hwy 40 and Noland Rd called The Hawthorne Cafe. They had George Jones and Johnny Cash on the jukebox, they were open all night, and had the best after the bars closed B&G in KC. There's a strip mall on that corner now. Another great place was called Ron's Cafe on Broadway Columbia, MO. Sunday morning you couldn't get in the joint, best breakfast in Central MO. B&G was stellar. Ron's is gone now, think there's a chinese restaurant or something in that building now.
Now I think the best in my home town are The Big Biscuit, The Corner Cafe and the Englewood Cafe.
