The Cena/Wyatt finish was the worst part of Mania by far to me. But seeing as WWE was just rewarded by fans, critics, and media for patiently paying off a year's worth of storytelling last night by crowning Daniel Bryan, I'm hoping that WWE is thinking long-term with Cena and Wyatt too.
They established a really interesting vibe last night with Bray being The Joker to Cena's Batman. Sure, Cena won last night by staying true to his moral center despite temptation. But what if that temptation stays with Cena? What if Cena has to struggle over the coming months to keep his inner monster at bay? Bray Wyatt lost the match, but storyline wise he COULD, if WWE chooses to, come much closer to winning the overall feud.
