Glass spent plenty of money. The problem is that DM doesn't know how to maximize value. For every $1 he spends wisely, he literally lights $5 on fire, and we're left to justify his stupidity by noting the beauty of the flames.
Then fire DM. Personally I don't think Glass spends enough money. If he were serious about wanting to win we would have bought some pitching and kept our prospects.
