Personally, I think it's bullshit that batters should be allowed to wear elbow armor. They shouldn't feel courageous to hover over the plate. If you look at where Quentin's upper body was when he got hit, there isn't much room at all for error for Greinke to miss on an inside pitch. That's wrong and that's not baseball.

There's a reason Quentin led the majors in being hit by a pitch last year while playing in roughly half of the available games. He's chosen to make the option of getting hit by a pitch part of his game.
