The difference is, white people can use an economics argument, claiming that the business would destroy the neighborhood. When a poor neighborhood turns down a Trader Joe's, people can't understand why they'd turn down something that appears to be a neighborhood improvement. Even if the race card was never thrown out there, guarantee this argument on this thread would still be about race baiting. So one is passed off as economics, and the other is considered racism. They're both in their own small way racially motivated.
Can't people (probably white) take a holier than thou attitude in this thread over black race baiting when they haven't done the same thing? Or do they need to identify with a group and bear the guilt of the lowest common denominator of that group instead of being guilt-free individuals?
