Andy Reid told the brass that he would be perfectly fine working with Pioli, but that is probably only because Pioli was in the meeting room and Andy Reid didn't want to disregard him right there. But privately, Andy Reid wants his own guy as GM.
Said the Chiefs are 100% sold on Andy Reid being their coach, and if either side were to hold this up, it would be Reid not 100% sold on the Chiefs, but it is still very close.

Thanks for the update. Sounds like it isn't totally a done deal then, even though at this point I'd be surprised if Reid pulls out of the talks...
