then why did Charles, Flowers, DJ all sign friendly cheap contracts compared to what they are actually worth
If you consider Charles a top 3 RB, he should be paid like one, 10+ million plus like AP and CJ. And we got him on ****ing chump change.
Same with DJ before he started making pro bowls and really peaked.
Same with Flowers, 7 million for a #1 lockdown CB. Good luck finding that anywhere else.
Its about getting him contract security before he really breaks out, becomes top 3 at his position and you have to pay out the ass. This happens all the time in the NFL, guys getting locked up mid season.
