Very true. That is why we have bowl games: to determine the best teams. The Sugar Bowl determined that the co-co-champion Big East team was far superior to the SEC #2. The #3 ACC team beat the #4 SEC team in the Chik-fil-A.


Polls aren't any more accurate than slots, either. #10 South Carolina rallied to eke out a win vs a pedestrian MIchigan, and #6 Georgia struggled with Nebraska most of the game. I don't know who else from the SEC played in bowl games since they were probably crap bowls.
