I've read a few articles where studies have said 28 was where most players peak physically. But then different positions have different prime years. For a QB, Most typically have their best years in their early 30's. Because their on top of their game mentally. And then there's guys like Payton Manning who has arrived mentally prepared for the Pro game from Day 1. If he survives the beatings he'll take in the next few years and stays relatively healthy, Manning will own practically all the records in the books.
