It’s almost a given that Eagle RB Duce Staley (foot) will undergo
season-ending surgery on his right foot. Staley visited an orthopedic
specialist in South Carolina on Friday and the verdict was that he
almost certainly needs the surgery. He’ll go through one more set
of tests before it’s official. ESPN’s John Clayton reports the team
may sign RB Terry Kirby, who knows the West Coast offense. There's
a slight chance that Staley will be out only 4-6 weeks, but that won't
be known until early in the week.<BR>
