I haven't done anything crazy internet-wise yet. I did watch a **** ton of Mad Men last night and Time Warner was good for at least 1 buffering interruption every couple episodes which didn't happen with Google..
Highlights: The cable box is the size of a paperback novel, not that typical monstrosity Time Warner was putting out. The drawback of the cable box is that it does not display the time, I didn't realize how much I relied on that. I'm going to need a clock for my living room. The DVR is not in the cable box, so the DVR sits alone in my office and I can watch what's recorded on it on all my tv's, something I couldn't do with TWC. The guide is super smart. When watching a program, you can get all the info on it and the cast, sort of like a built in IMDb. Handy when trying to think of what you've seen that actor in before. Tablet works as a remote, although it can't control the volume. It is voice activated with is kind of cool when searching for programs. Remotes are bluetooth so you don't have to point it at the box. Installers are unique to your account, so if you have a service call in the future, they send the same guy.
It was information overload and I have the tech savvyness of a 2nd trimester embryo with a due date of 1992, so it will be a lot of trial of and error in which I will likely only scratch the surface of its capabilities.
