There are some positions where I need some depth and have 4 or 5 guys I would be happy with. I keep bidding up those 4 or 5 guys because I don't want any of them to fall off the board. There are 2-3 other teams doing the same thing. If we'd all just pick a guy and make a fair offer, we'd all get off cheaper.

I was having the same thought. I realized that there was one position where we all kept pushing up the bids and I finally thought, "I'll just let the other guys have some of their players." It lowers demand and I think helps us all out, as long as you don't end up with the last two owners desperate for the same last player at that position.
