If they can give him a deal ala Charles Woodson (but perhaps not so lucrative) that pays him large base salaries but no huge signing bonuses, i'm all for it.
Having the ability to cut him after one or two years without getting a big cap penalty would be awesome. And, for his services, he should be paid appropriately with substantial base salaries.
