To all the Silver lining guys: What you are missing is that while this is a win now mode, you essentially didn't get any better.
Myers would have been so much of an upgrade in RF, that he would have offset some of that pitching and this is such a short sided trade.
Like DJ said, this is a trade a team makes that won the WC and got knocked out in the first round last year.
Not the Royals.
