Wouldn't that make her too expendable though? The only thing that kept Mike from offing her before was her connection to the chemical. If she couldn't get it anymore, wouldn't Mike just kill her like he wanted to before?
Maybe Hank went off on his own and planted the device? I don't know...just throwing stuff out there.
