Why can't Gordon just stay in the leadoff?
Getz will be filling that role tonight. We know with basic certainty that Gordon just doesn't approach hitting the same or get the same results when he is in the middle of the lineup. It's actually far worse. He has proven he won't take his .300+ average and .380 OB to the third spot and will just end up lowering those numbers in the third spot that he worked so hard on building up after Yost screwed with his position in the lineup the first time.
