It's going to take more than DGB to fix that.
It appears the coaches have no faith in Franklin's ability to stand in the face of a rush and make his progressions (nor should they).
To get this offense on track, Franklin will have to show that he's capable of waiting for the routes to develop, the O-Line will have to give him a little time to prove that and the coaching staff will have to buy that he's going to be able to continue doing that with some consistency.
I really do think the staff would like to open up the game plan a bit, but Franklin's skittish nature in the pocket is preventing it (as is the scattershot arm). Perhaps if the make-shift line can give him a few easy throws, it will build his confidence and he can start getting the staff to believe in him a little bit more.
It's a pretty nasty combination of shortcomings that are hurting us right now, though.
