That's biggest bunch of horsehit I heard today and was my favorite post. Whoever wrote that BS must be like 21 years old or something. Reid had receivers like Hank Basket, freddie Mitchell, James Thrash, and Reggie Brown for the most part.
None of them were especailly fast or downfield threats! He really didn't throw downfield consistently until he started Vick.
Reid is smart. He is the king of tayloring his offense to the players he has.
Do you really think he will throw it down the feild here? We don't have a guy that can get open down the field. We have no speed guys like Jackson or Maclin.
All I am saying is this whole down field passing thing is absolute bullshit.
Wilson is still the best fit imo.
