if you have an HD tv id get a HDMI cable but... dont get an expensive one get one online for like 20 bucks at

as for the remote... thats your call. i use the controller b/c im use to it. you might need an extra controller if your ever up for some 2 player gaming or a keyboard if your up for the websurfing and messaging etc.... or a usb or bluetooth headset if your into chatting while gaming...IE COD4
