If I go to Five Guys, I'll get he single w/ cheese no tomato, however I'm cool w/ them including those pickle-slices - because I'll usually just pluck them off of the burger top and eat them either before or after the main burger and fries.

I want to try 5 guys. The burger thread made them sound very good.
I just tried Squeeze In and it was delicious. I could not handle the Squeeze Cheeze though. Way too much cheese.
A big hunk raw white or yellow onion is a must, although a good change up is a big pile of caramelized onions. That works too.
I hate mayo. Mayo kills a great burger for me. Ketchup and mustard are the perfect combination of flavor.
I like a burger with lettuce, tomato, pickle and raw or caramelized onions. That does it for me.
I rarely have a bacon burger because the bacon just overpowers an already great burger. I have bacon on lousy or mediocre burgers to hide how bad they are. On a delicious burger, I just don't see the point of it. It would be like burying a filet mignon in steak sauce.
