While they don't strike me as 'chick cars', I've known 3 people that owned one - 2 were 55+yr.old ladies, and the other was a 40yr old non-socialized male (married, no kids).
VW bugs weren't chick cars in the 60s and 70s, but the NewBeetles seemed that way. The lastest design looks less chicky.
Every Jeep Liberty I've seen is being driven by a woman.
