There really is no reason not to do this. 6th rounder? Hell yeah. Love him or hate him, Gonzalez is still elite at his position and Alex Smith's play hinges on the efficiency of the tight end position. Gonzalez, Fasano and McGrath would be pretty sweet.
Guarantee you if Gonzalez was here that Bowe would be having more success as well because they couldn't double him every down.
