Cute, young teacher with no ring happens to be in two of my grad classes. It's early in the semester. She calls me out about it from across the classroom and we have a decent, flirty conversation. So now Im supposed to feel like the creep for thinking there might have been interest there? Thank God Im not an over-anxious, desperate loser and played it perfectly.

Yeah this stuff happens. It does sound like she gave you an 'in' if you want to take on the challenge because she was so aggressive in getting your contact info. Let her keep contacting you and see what happens. Boyfriend/girlfriend label doesn't mean much these days.
