I remember I saw a post mentioning the "Red Wedding" when I was still reading ACOK. I had no idea what it was at the time but was thinking in my head it had something to do with Joffrey's and Sansa's eventual ceremony. As time drew nearer to the actual Red Wedding, bad thoughts started to creep into my mind. I kept telling me I was just paranoid and no way would GRRM do
THAT to the Starks (after Ned and the fall of Winterfell). I was damn near having heart palpitations when it started happening but was still in ever-weakening denial. When Catelyn felt that chainmail, my heart sank and I just didn't want to read anymore.
