Yeah it eliminates almost all processed junk. I do love me some uncured bacon, too. I tend to stay away from heavy amounts of fruits and stick to just oats, rice and potatoes. I've read the same thing regarding fructose/fruit. I'll buy some fruit if I've craving something and that's usually an apply that I can dip in a honey/almond butter mixture.
And I agree that when the occasional cake craving comes a knockin' you have to answer or you'll go crazy. None of these cravings ever leads to weight gain.
