Wasn't it originally derived from Jack Kerouac's book On The Road? I think they might be making a movie about it. It's an old book from the 50's or 60's. It's about Beatniks and Hipsters if I remember right. They called joints "bombers" and had poetry readings. They were supposed to be like revolutionary thinkers and shit.
