I knew he was losing the second his music opened the show. WWE always has all but the very top level guys lose in front of their home crowds. If anything, you knew he couldn't go over because it would be the biggest pop of the night.

I thought for a fraction of a second they were going to bring him out at the end, the way they were stretching the commentary post-title match, but it wouldn't make much sense to have him lose clean to start the show and then cash in.
