But yeah, I thought that was pretty over the top. That being said: visceral (haha) moments like that are what much of the zombie-loving audience clamor for.

I just chalk it up to 'zombies never make sense'. Cos what you just said is impossible without a functioning circulatory system.
I just ignore it. I like zombie movies... and none of them make sense.
