The Royals have signed Gordon to a 1-year deal, avoiding arbitration. $4.775MM plus a possible $25K in incentives. (Royals filed 4.15, Gordon filed 5.45. Counting the incentives, they agreed exactly in the middle)

I assume they are still discussing a long-term deal, who knows if that will happen before the end of this season.
