It's not just so much the schedule but also the looming question with a sizable number of guys signed by other teams and relatively at fire sale pace upon the start of FA.
Individually, none of these guys give me cause for concern because they are gone, but as a collective whole that's a good portion of turnover and law of averages dictates it's not even probable that we will maintain at least equal levels of performance from the guys taking over their spots.
I don't have anyone that comes to mind that I can bank on saying we have a clear upgrade taking over. I am expecting FS couldn't possibly be worse, and the TE position will yield more.
Of course we haven't seen how our draft goes, and I'm definitely not down on this team or its direction. I feel like our play on the field could very easily be improved and we can stay competitive no matter who we face, but that may not be reflected in this year's record.
So, it's not all doom and gloom from my perspective.
