Personally, I found the 3x to be too bulky and the extra 1x magnification really didn't seem like that big of a deal to me. Having a standard AR, mounting it would have been a bit of a pain as well, since I would have to put the sight so far forward to accommodate the 3x magnifier. Of course, with a Sig and its continuous rail you won't have that problem. But I really love the 2x and the fact that it screws in and takes up no rail space at all. |
I decided I'm going to wait for Lucid's 2x-5x variable magnifier. The mount for that one is expensive too - $149
