Bottom line is though, Squrimin Herman Mother****ing Sack of **** Edwards' roster was remarkably bad. Just horrible from top to bottom. Even in his vaunted secondary, it was shit.
Time fades the memory of just how horribad Squirmin Herman Mother****ing Sack of **** Edwards' roster really was.

For the millionth time, vermeil had more players play 3 years because he was there for 5 years and because they spent a bajillion dollars on proven free agents. Vermeil shat the bed in the draft. 5 years and the only true starters to show for it were DJ, Allen, lj, and maybe kawika Mitchell if you're being really generous. Wilkerson and svitek if you're being really really generous. That's barely one good draft pick per year. The rest were special teamers. Of course when you throw $10m at a proven veteran who's played in the league for a while, they're going to be more likely to play 3 more years.
I don't know why you insist on polishing the turd vermeil left behind. Or that anyone would waver on the idea that this team needed to be blown up.
