That's a rather sizable difference, yes?
Also, not like Missouri fans didn't travel well. Mizzou sold out its allotment of 3500 tickets, and I have seen estimates that around 8000 Mizzou fans were there. In perusing a few Vandy message boards during and after the game, I saw comments comparing Mizzou's takeover to that of other schools in the SEC (Tennesee and Georgia were the ones I saw mentioned).

Mizzou pretty much owned the visitors side of the stadium. I'd say it was about 2/3 Mizzou fans on that side of the field.
And Mizzou fans also pretty much dominated downtown both before and after the game. They were serving drink in Harpos cups at the Tin Roof. Frank Haith showed up and led the whole damn bar in a MIZ chant a couple of times.
We were getting MIZ chants from the roof of the honkey tonk bar downtown on Friday night (that big 3-story sucker with balconies a lot like Quentins). Just walking down the sidewalk would get you a 'Go Tigers!' Whiskey Bend saloon turned into a complete MU bar by the end of the night; complete with Tiger flags flying out front.
It's laughable that this numbnut is trying to talk attendance smack on last weekend when Mizzou pretty much invaded Nashville for the weekend and KU was setting records for poor attendance on homecoming.
