Easy A was really quite enjoyable. I watched it based on a couple comments in this thread and that alone. My wife was asking why I wanted to watch some teen romcom and I just kept saying I'd heard it was good. We were both pleasantly surprised.
The writer/director put out a movie that is fresh on its own, but clearly had some love for the genre and the John Hughes romcoms for which he was famous.
