I sincerely hope this isn't true, for the sake of Lock and the sake of the team. If Mauk can't hold off a true freshman in head to head competition for the starting job, then it's on him. Pinkel should be past the point of coddling Mauk come next year.

I hate that they aren't what they should be. They are a good team with a stellar defense that carries a sub-par offense (at least the passing game). Mizzou has the ability to be scary on O, but just finds ways not to be. That's where my frustration lies.
