That’s not just Moore. It’s easy to say,
In hindsight, he’s a dumbass who blew this pick or that pick. But most GMs have historically had a much lower success rate outside the top /3 picks. Bust rate is astronomically higher from 4+.
when Sale goes 13th overall, it’s not just moore passing on him at 4. He had major question marks, which is why 8 additional teams passed on him.
The whole point of the post was that the odds are better in general picking top 3, which KC will. And Moore’s draft record reflects the general trend.
