no one is 'refusing to acknowledge' that there is a myriad of things that offend a multitude of people
what we are doing is refusing to assume that every time someone is offended, someone must change their behavior/take action/be held accountable etc...
If you are alive, you will be offended. Deal with it...you have zero right to 'not be offended.'
You do have a right to change the channel....but apparently being offended is easier for the simple minded.
