Which is why they are pushed higher in the draft and why it's worth a shot taking a guy that grades out the same as many franchise QB's in the league now coming out of college. With the new CBA even if Geno bust you aren't burying the franchise for 5 years. In the end it's a low risk high reward move to draft Geno. The QB is the difference maker and right now we've got a guy behind center that is a middle of the pack QB at best. We do have a top 10 LT however and 2 pretty damn good OLB's.

Yes I know, I heard you, "hes the best of all the bad QB's in the draft. Just what we need. Of all the Weak QBs, he is the best one of them. I cant believe i am hearing this. I guess we will just let the draft run its course and see how history plays out.
