Email I got today from a family friend from whom we buy a few KU games each winter:
"Just wanted to update each of you on the basketball ticket situation this year, since some of you have been asking anyway. KUAD held their select a seat recently and unfortunately, our seats got significantly worse from the past few years. According to the AF map we have shifted back 5 rows and 1 section right (north) almost to the edge of the corner. We are still facing the bench but now we're to the right of the north baseline. Obviously I'm disappointed given that I've nearly doubled my donation the past year. The employee I spoke with said renewals were nearly 100% this year and existing holders requested additional seats and upped their donations. So either I fell down the points list or others simply bought more. Whatever the situation we lost positioning. Whether this is the AW effect I don't know but hopefully things settle down and get back to normal next year. Sorry."
