The other thing that hasn't been discussed, and it's a small but important point, is that George is used to having Hibbert behind him. He can overplay or be half a step slow because the the guy with the ball knows even if he gets by George, he'll have Hibbert to deal with. I think we're on the same page... I'm saying regardless of if hibbert's in or not, the paint is going to be open, because hibbert's guy is going to draw him out.
As for the george defense, he wasn't a half step slow, that was a quick as shit move based on feel by Lebron. It's not like he turned around and saw the court before he made the drive. Paul had no chance because he thought Lebron was going to catch and probably rise up for a turnaround J. The more I think about it, holy shit, that's one hell of a play by Lebron. Kobe would've probably airballed a triple clutch fadeaway falling to his right.
