These aren't the Royals or the Rockies or the Yankees or the Heat or Bulls or the St Louis Blues or even Roger Federer. This is professional football. Each team gets 16 games and that's it. The good ones get only a couple more.
That's your favorite team. The one you spend hours on an internet message board talking about. The one you can debate, study, criticize, praise, and sexually fantasize about. The ones we all love. When they're playing our emotions are like life and death.
How can somebody care about a sports team that much and watch them play so little, and then get bored when they're losing a goddamn game?
