Damn Neil Peart and his drumming.
I bought the cover version of "Limelight" when it first dropped, and its been my most played song on expert drums by far, but I can't ever 5 star it. Rock Band 2 comes out, I buy the new drumset, and straight out of the box I 5 star the song. The improved response of the drum heads & better rebound improve my scores greatly. So I've been putting in some practice so I can gold star it.
And then the master version of "Limelight" comes out. Apparently Harmonix did a pretty good charting of the track, because 90% of their cover is in line with the master. Unfortunately for me, the first time I saw the 10% difference, I just quit playing and stared at the screen.
Now I'm back to trying to 5 star it.
As for "YYZ"...I'm not even built for that shit. Due to putting some time into the GHII version, I can beat it on guitar, but drums? **** that shit.
