Why is it an asshole thing? Because that poster is taking it upon themselves to FORCE someone else to see their words when that other person has gone to the trouble to use the system we have in place to avoid them.

If "bad words" bothered me I wouldn't allow them at all.. they don't bother me... but I have the decency to respect OTHER PEOPLE who may feel differently.
This concept isn't hard, you just have to think OUTSIDE your own sensibilities for a second and it should be clear why this bothers me.
TO ME, circumventing the filter is far worse than ANY petty personal attacks. If you are being attacked personally you have the option to ignore a user or man up and attack back.

Furthermore, idiots who have been banned multiple times from this site don't really set policy, aren't asked to help determine policy, and will never be asked for their opinion. If you had any idea how to operate a successful community at all, there would be at least 43 regular users of TexansPlanet.com but instead, you gave it the old college try for at least 9 days and then you gave up.
