Texas is not shipping all their sports teams to Washington and Oregon. Only desperate schools end up traveling their teams to extreme regions. Traditional powers stay where they've always been.
The difference is none of those others schools tried to leave multiple times in the last 2-3 years.

There is a reason why Colorado, Nebraska, A&M and then MU left.

IMVHO if Texas and Oklahoma left like they almost did 6 months ago the Big12 would cease to exist and KU would be in the MAC
