He gets screwed over by his coach he trusted and the unwritten rule that you dont lose your spot after an injury. Has to sit on the bench and listen to how great the new guy is and how bad he is. He is not just some slub on his last leg trying to get one more payday- he wants to win and let his talking be done on the field. He wants to prove everyone wrong and shove it the 9ers face for ditching him.
Until he proves me wrong on the field I think he deserves a chance. Personally I think he will have a big year!!

I'm not understanding the bolded part here. And to the latter part of the bolded, it seems to me that most fans are feeling good enough about Alex. It's the dozen or so vocal pussies here at CP that the bolded fits.. and believe me, Alex wouldn't know or care what they say. He has zero interest or participation in the internet forum world.
