That's a fair point. Right now, you see Goodwin as a pure administrator for Arians on the offensive side. He's going to be really ill-equipped to put together a passing plan together. His background indicates he's probably going to be more involved with designing the blocking schemes. Arians is going to have to take on a LOT of coordinator responsibility (yes... this is, by the way, at least an improvement over Haley in 2009, who thought he could operate fine without anybody... period. But not much different from when he thought he could operate with Muir as a lackey).

Despite his success in Indy, I don't think he's prepared for how much administrative BS he's going to have to deal with as a full-time head coach. I think he's making a big mistake by believing he can do too much. The best coaches, in my opinion, are the ones who are excellent at delegating to others.
