I think it helps to be a true "Alien" nerd. I mean the first film, not the entire Alien universe of films.
This entire movie was spawned by one little 1 or 2 minute shot from the first Alien film.

I'm an Alien nerd. I didn't enjoy this film as much as I was hoping to. I tried to view it as a film detached from the rest of the "Alien" franchise.. which is what it's suppose to be. I just wasn't feeling the way the SJ/Engineer were designed. The original dead one from Alien seemed much larger, and I didn't like the whole 'helmet' spin-off. It seemed more bio-mechanical than the SJ's from Prometheus.
I'm trying not to over-analyze.. the film just didn't feel right.
